So here’s the deal: right now The Jam Night Project is a little in the hole. It took some money to get things rolling—buying stage gear, putting a bit into social media to get the word out, and so on. You can check out the details below if you’re curious.

The awesome part is that people—musicians and non-musicians alike—have already stepped up and helped us cover a good chunk of that. Most of the start-up costs are basically taken care of, and it shouldn’t cost much to keep HJN running from here on out.

As of now, we’re sitting at about $2,000 in the red. Once we climb out of that and actually get into the green, we’ll be able to do something really fun with extra donations: give back. That could mean supporting local school music programs, pitching in to community charities, or even helping out with national or global causes. We’ll have some cool decisions to make when we get there!
